Andrea Lombardo (born May 23, 1987 in North York, Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian soccer player who currently plays for Major League Soccer side Toronto FC. His position is striker and also holds Italian passport by descent.
Lombardo previously played for Italian sides Perugia and Atalanta.
Lombardo has been called up to the Canadian Under-20 national side. He was part of the squad in 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship & the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Lombardo is a fan of Juventus FC, the basketball team Toronto Raptors and the hockey team the Montreal Canadiens. He's also a fan of footballers Alessandro Del Piero and Ronaldinho.
His father was born in Catanzaro, Italy, while his mother was born in Montreal, QC of Italian descent.
Andrea can speak Italian, which he learned when he moved to Italy at the age of 16.
