Andrea Lee is an author from Yeadon, Philadelphia who has written Sarah Phillips, Russian Journal, Interesting Women: Stories and Lost Hearts in Italy: A Novel. She used to write for The New Yorker, and has been published in The New York Times Magazine, The New York Times Book Review, Vogue, Time, The Oxford American, and the textbook Elements of Literature. She received a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from Harvard University. She moved to Russia in 1978 and went to Moscow State University. She currently lives in Torino, Italy with two children and her husband.
