Andrea Densley is a singer and fashion designer from the greater Seattle area in Washington State. She was awarded "Costume Designer of the Year" by Brigham Young University, and is a freelance designer for the Simplicity Pattern Co. She has appeared on the syndicated television show "The New Gong Show" and has performed as a vocalist in various Las Vegas showcases and throughout the Puget Sound area; most recently appearing as the featured singer with Swing Fever of Washington, a 19-piece swing band. In 2005, after completing her first music CD, Densley had a thyroidectomy which resulted in the rare condition of a paralyzed vocal cord. Told by doctors she would never sing again, Densley continued under the supervision of therapists and a vocal coach to exercise her voice. In the Spring of 2007, with one vocal cord still paralyzed, Densley made her post-surgical singing debut in concert with the Shelton High School Jazz Band.
