Andre Sonko is one of the oldest political figure in Senegal. He became minister of the foreign office under Leopold Sedar Senghor's government and remains minister until Abdoulaye Wade era.He is among the 15 richest people in Africa .His wife Cecile is the only daughter of one of the wealthiest man in Africa.As of today, she owns many diamond and oil companies throughout Africa and the middle east. And now working for the Coca Cola company. They got 5 children. Andre Sonko is also known by his work to expand education in west africa but also for his legendary simplicity.
