Andrade Antunes Anderson (born November 15, 1981 in Brazil) is a football player who currently plays for Yokohama F.C. in Japan's professional J. League.
[edit] Career
After shortly playing professionally in Mexico and then for four years in his native Brazil, Anderson joined the Mito HollyHock team for the 2006 J. League season. He quickly became a fan favorite as he became one of the highest scorers in the division, placing 7th, with the best goal-per-shot ratio in Japanese professional soccer. He was signed by Sagan to boost their chances of reaching the top division, which was missed by only one place in ranking in 2006.
After the 2006 season ended, he announced on December 20 that he would like to return to play soccer in Brazil from 2007. However, in January, he was signed by Sagan Tosu. On 16 June 2007, he joined Shimizu S-Pulse on loan, but after an unsuccessful spell in Shizuoka, he joined J2 team Yokohama F.C..
