Andrés Ricardo Aimar is an Argentine football player. He was born on November 18, 1980 in the city of Rio Cuarto, Cordoba. He's also the brother of superstar Pablo Aimar. Like his brother Andrés Ricardo Aimar is also a creative midfielder. Pablo Aimar once said referring to his brother, that he was the world's best player, this proved to be wrong since Andrés has not shown top level yet. He started his career with River Plate and has played for other Argentine clubs including Belgrano de Córdoba.
He has played outside Argentina with Namur in Belgium and in 2007 moved to F.C. Ashdod in Israel.
He currently playes for Club Atlético Aldosivi in the Argentine 2nd division.
