Andrée Melly

Andrée Melly (born 15 September 1932 in Liverpool) is an English actress.
She appeared in many British films, including the 1954 comedy The Belles of St Trinian's and the 1960 Hammer Horror film The Brides of Dracula. She played Tony Hancock's girlfriend in the second and third radio series (1955-56) of Hancock's Half Hour and also appeared in many British TV episodes, up to 1990.
She was a regular panellist in the early years of the long-running BBC radio comedy, Just A Minute. Her fifty-four appearances included eight in the first series. In 1972 she took the chair for one episode.
She is a sister of jazz legend George Melly.
