André Souris

André Souris (10 July 1899 - 12 February 1970) was a Belgian composer and writer associated with the Surrealist movement.
He was born in Marchienne-au-Pont, Belgium, and studied at the Conservatorium in Brussels. He won the Rubens prize in 1927. In 1947 he composed Polyphonie, an Avant-Garde/Surrealist work. He lived in Italy, France, and Austria, and died in Paris.
