André Martins

André Filipe Saraiva Martins (born 26 March 1987) is a Portuguese footballer. He is 1.80 m tall and weighs 75 kg, and plays as a striker/second striker/playmaker, he is the typical Portuguese player of the new generation he is an explosive player,creative, with excellent skill, with short/fast dribles, very good of one for one, Martins has a tremendous Killer instinct he is a Top Scorer.
At the youth level, Martins played 208 games and scored 266 goals, at the moment with 21 years he has scored 273 goals in 225 matches. He played in clubs from first level.
Skilful with the ball at his feet and with a strong and accurate shot, Martins has been several times top scorer of leagues and tournaments in his country (Portugal), with an average of 26 goals per season.
In his first senior year with Naval 1º May, he played 9 times and scored 5 times, which led to him being spotted by Bayern Munich and called for a trial in April 2007. But contractual difficulties - now resolved - stopped any possible transfer.
Martins is now a free agent and will be in Germany during the summer transfer window where several Top clubs have expressed an interest in his talents.
In July 2007 he scored the only goal of the game in a trial match for Dundee [1].
André then had a short time at Fulham FC, playing for their reserves against Arsenal FC [3].
2008
André signed a short-term deal with Bulgarian side Vidima-Rakovski in February 2008 [4].
