André Bugnon

André Bugnon (born 13 September 1947) is the current President of the Swiss National Council (2007/2008). A member of the Swiss People's Party (UDC/SVP), Bugnon was elected to the National Council in 1999 and re-elected in 2003 and 2007.
From 1988 to 1999, Bugnon was a member of the cantonal parliament of Vaud. He was mayor of Saint-Prex from 1990 to 2002.
