Andover has currently held the cup in each of the past 6 years, since the cup was created. In 2007 the Andover boys track team won the true team section beating runner up Anoka which qualified them for the True Team State meet in in Stillwater, Minnesota in which they placed fourth (higher than any other NWSC team in recent years). Other teams to go to state in 2007 include the football team, the boys cross country team, and the volleyball team which placed 2nd. In June 2008, Andover was awarded it's 7th straight A-Town Cup after state appearances from 3 sports.
