Andong, (Chinese: 安東省; pinyin: Āndōng shěng) also known as Antung, was a province (c.24,000 sq mi/62,160 km²) in Northeast China, which was established in 1945. The provincial capital was Tonghua (Chinese: 通化; Wade-Giles: T'unghua). The province was abolished in 1954 and incorporated into Liaoning and Jilin provinces.
