Coordinates: Andipatty is a town in Theni district in western Tamil Nadu state in southern India. The places nearer to it are Theni, Madurai, Cumbum. Also spelled 'Aundipatty' the town is known all over the state as having been the constituency of the late state chief minister M. G. Ramachandran, and more recently the constituency of J. Jayalalithaa, another ex-chief minister of Tamil Nadu.
There is an NGO based in Aundipatty called Arogya Agam. They work in the fields of women's development, Dalit empowerment and HIV and Aids. It is also well known for the incident when the late AIADMK chief minister Mr. M.G.R won the M.L.A election in this place even without visiting this place for election campaign since he was admitted in the Brooklyn hospital America and became the Chief minister of Tamil Nadu.
