Andhra Pradesh Residential School, Kodigenahalli

The Andhra Pradesh Residential School, Kodigenahalli (APRSK), is one of the oldest residential and most prestigious residential schools in Andhra Pradesh, India. It was established in the early 1970s by the State Government of Andhra Pradesh to promote education in rural areas. Soon after its establishment, this school started grabbing top ten ranks in the SSC exams conducted by the Government.

The school motto is "Thama soma Jyothirgamaya".

Yakundendu Thusharahara Dhavala, ya Subhra Vasthranvita... This song is sung every day, when the school assembles in the morning, before the beginning of classes. The song is a tribute to the goddess of education Saraswati.
