[edit] Differences from traditional high schools

The method of learning in the New Tech high schools is very different from a traditional high school. Instead of simply book work, they have projects which implement learning in the subject, and often is very similar to the work in a professional project. Also, they keep the school at a lower population, so they don't have many problems with crime, etc. The teachers are usually able to teach what they want, when they want, but they also don't hammer the students so much with it that it changes theirs.
