Anders Wendin is a Swedish pop musician, best known[citation needed] for his solo project Moneybrother. After the split-up of his punk rock band Monster, Wendin took a new[citation needed] direction and released Moneybrother's debut album Blood Panic in 2003. The album got very positive reviews[citation needed] in the Swedish press and earned Wendin a Swedish Grammy Award for Rock Album of the Year.[citation needed] His second album, To Die Alone, was released in 2005.

The music of Moneybrother can be described as a soul-oriented blend, incorporating influences from rock, punk, reggae and disco. Anders Wendin is known to have radical leftist views.

In December 2006, Moneybrother released his third album, Pengabrorsan. The title is a literal Swedish translation of Moneybrother, and the album is his first in the Swedish language. It consists of cover versions of English songs, translated into Swedish.

August 2007 saw the release of his fourth album Mount Pleasure, which debuted at #1 on the Swedish album charts.
