Anders Degn Randrup (born 16 July 1988) is a Danish professional football defender, who plays as a defender for Brøndby IF in the Danish Superliga and the danish national team. The Brøndby headcoach, Tom Køhlert has often praised Randrups abilities, numerous times calling him a star player to be. His first games for Brondby came in the middle of the club's biggest crisis, fighting against relegation, and Randrup didn't impress greatly. However, in the second half of the 2007-2008 season, with former danish international Thomas Rytter demoted to the reserves, Anders Randrup established himself as the number one choice for right back, and became an immediate fan- and media favourite after strong performances in the opening games. On the 22nd March 2008, Randrup was called up for the national team for a friendly game againt Czech Republic, where he came on as a subsitute after 60 mins. thus receiving his first cap.
