The Andean Flicker (Colaptes rupicola) is a species of bird in the Picidae family. It is found in Peru and the southern border region of Ecuador; also western Andean Bolivia, and northern regions of Argentina and Chile.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland and pastureland.
