Originally founded in Korea in 1992 as Oksan Entertainmen Co. Ltd, the company changed its name to Anda Miro Entertainment in 1999. The company holds its main office in Seoul, Korea.

The company is especially known for its Pump It Up dancing simulation video game. It is also known for the production of the dedicated cabinets for In the Groove 2.
