"And Then We Kiss" is a promo-single by American pop singer Britney Spears, from her 2005 remix album B in the Mix, The Remixes. It wasn't released as a retail single anywhere, only as a promo and download one, but received airplay in Asia and Australia. The song was originally recorded in 2003 for Spears' fourth studio album, In the Zone, but did not make the final cut so it was used two years later as the main track for her first remix album. The track was composed by Barry P., Spears, and Taylor Michael Jarvis. On the date of October 31st, 2005 the song leaked onto the internet. The original version of "And Then We Kiss" was never officially released, only the Junkie XL Remix was used as the track's main version. And Then We Kiss went straight to number 1 in the Israeli Airplay Chart.

[edit] Chart performance

"And Then We Kiss" was never commercially released anywhere but peaked at number 15 on the Hot Dance Radio Airplay. It also charted in Asia. The song has achieved something none of Spears' other singles has: And Then We Kiss remained for thirteen consecutive weeks at the No. 1 position in the Israeli 99ESC Top 20, a popular local radio show in Israel. Due the fact the song was No. 1 for three whole months, it was removed from the chart. The song also received some airplay in Mexico where it reached No. 74.
