[edit] Macedonia naming conventions
Please read Wikipedia:Manual of Style (Macedonia-related articles). The correct name to use in most instances on Wikipedia is Republic of Macedonia, but there are exceptions. Specifically, the guideline says:
In articles about international political organisations or cultural/athletic events where the Republic participates officially under the appellation former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia or variants thereof (e.g. the United Nations, accession to the European Union, the Olympic Games etc.), the official naming conventions of those organisations should be followed.
That clause means that the football team must be named according to the FIFA designation, which is "FYR Macedonia" per this link. There is also consensus within Wikipedia:WikiProject Football to use this designation, and use of the standard template for the national team will also produce this name (i.e. {{fb|MKD}} → FYR Macedonia). Please do not undo other people's edits repeatedly, or you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. The three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the 3RR. Thank you.
