I am a Michiganian currently living in Minot, North Dakota (until January 2007), when I will return to the Detroit area. I have a consuming interest in history, especially Irish, Russian and military. I would like to think that my knowledge in these areas is considerable. I consider myself politically independent, but lean considerably toward the conservative side. I enjoy historical recreation (though I am not currently a member of the SCA or other similar group), wargaming (both board and computer-based), and political activism. I am gay and am involved in and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) issues.
