[edit] importance class questioned

Shouldnt this article be a "high" importance classification. the originator of the ranking didnt offer any explanation of the mid proposal. This is the location of arguably the oldest trees on earth. Hope to hear from others. Anlace 02:44, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

Sorry for not offering an explanation, yeah, you're probably right. I have no affiliation with project California, I was probably not the right person to rank the article. I just had it on my watchlist and thought I should give it a starting point. As an article I feel it should definately be high, but I was less sure when looking at it from a specifically Californian view. Somone more skilled in quantifying "Californianess" should probably make that call. Or there should be a discussion. Importance reverted. How Californian is this? jugander (t) 06:04, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Should this be redirected

Should this article be redirected to the Great Basin article? Or should this page be expanded with sole emphasis on the Inyo/White Mtn. forests of this magnificent tree? Kidshare 03:17, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
