What's the deal with all of these "shout-outs"? Keep Wiki's intention in mind--the list of notable alumni should only include notable alumni.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 64.25.201.126 (talk • contribs) 00:39, September 20, 2006.
A suggestion: Include the year of graduation in parentheses for the notable alumni. ~Gertlex 03:51, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] NPOV
I put in an NPOV tag- it just needs to have a couple sentences about how awesome some people are removed. Awesimo 19:24, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Not only did Kevin Schloemp not win Mr. AB 2003, but he'd hardly qualify as a notable AB alum when he's not even notable on CMU's campus, not to mention on the level of most qualifiers for "notable alumni." Kevin Schloemp needs to stop editing this article and deal with the fact that he isn't any more special than any other AB, or CMU for that matter, Alumni. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.231.203.137 (talk) 00:39, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Notability
There needs to be some sort of consensus reached regarding who is "notable" and who is not. There is a wikipedia article which deals with this topic and can be used as a guideline, though perhaps since this article is about the school and not the individuals, the criteria can be lessened somewhat. Clearly, Butch Hartman, having created several very popular animated television series qualifies as a notable alumni. In addition, googling "Butch Hartman" yields 65,900 results. By contrast, Kevin Schloemp has been added (and removed) as a notable alumni several times though googling him yields a mere 64 results. Googling my own name yields 826 results and I don't consider myself a notable ABHS alum, though I might just barely meet the requirements in the notability article mentioned above. Whatever the case until some consensus is reached, I'll be using the notability article as a guideline and removing those individuals that don't meet those requirements. --Somegeekintn (talk) 20:18, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
