What is the source for the alternative name? I have never come across it in any reference. Tmangray 18:30, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

- Agreed, but as to the name, it appears only as de Greye (or de Grei) in Domesday. Never saw a FitzTurgis there nor in any subsequent documents relating to the Grey estates. Tmangray 16:48, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
