[edit] Hello Admin

I am new to Wikipedia world and truly respects its policy and guidelines but would like to know as on what grounds my article on Anand Suryanvanshi is not meeting the standards? as This Profile of an Television Actor and comes under the category of arts and television, i have seen such articles on Actors like Indraneil Sengupta who hails from the same field. So please do not delete this article . regards

You (or someone) need to do a lot of work to this article if you want it to stay. The Indraneil Sengupta article that you mention is much better but it still needs proper references as well. Take a look at the article on Mohammad Iqbal Khan. See how it is set out much better? Something like that is what you should be striving for with your article. Once the problems have been resolved the maintenance tags can be removed. Oh, and please sign you posts with four tildes like this ~~~~ Cheers, Sting_au Talk 10:32, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

Hi i am sorry did not know that i have to sign in certain manner so please excuse me.About Iqbal Khan thanks a heap for the reference i really appreciate it will try and follow your guidelines. 221.135.221.171 (talk) 17:30, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Has improved but

Well someone has been busy since I last looked at this page! I still have some issues with this article. The references need to be in the inline citation format for best effect. That's were you add the "ref" tags at the end of each sentence you are giving a reference for and then you need to add the "reflist" template down in your reference section. It works something like this. A sentence that will require a reference.<ref>Add reference here<ref/> then down in the reference section you place {{reflist}} and your references will show up there all automatically numbered. Another thing I'm having problems with is this guys notability? Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. It is not an Internet dating website. Things like "He drives a Honda City.his handset is Nokia N70.he stays near near Carter Road" apart from the second "near" which is a typo are not great references to his notability now are they? All that drivel on his personal life might be ok on a MySpace page but it certainly looks out of place in a Wikipedia article. But it's certainly not the only wiki article on a celebrity which has those kind of comments. I think it looks pretty tacky though. Anyhow, looks like you saved the article from deletion! Not a bad effort in that regard because it was gone for all money at one stage. Cheers, Sting_au Talk 21:35, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
