Supply Chain Management: an International Journal (ISSN: 1359-8546) [1] is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by Emerald Group Publishing Limited. It is directed at researchers and practitioners in both public and private sector organisations.
The journal publishes articles on a wide variety of topics, including contractual relationships, data interchange and vertical integration, efficient consumer response, investment in emerging economies, just in time, logistics, organizational behaviour and risk management.
Supply Chain Management: an International Journal (SCM) is indexed by Thomson Scientific Social Sciences Citation Index (impact factor = 0.929 for 2007). SCM usually publishes about 50 articles per year, in six issues: research papers, research notes, case studies, insights from industry and doctoral papers.
SCM is currently edited by Professor Andrew Fearne of the Centre for Supply Chain Research at Kent Business School, UK.
