It also hints at the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. The single failed to chart everywhere except for the UK where it made the Top 40. It entered & peaked at number 38.

The opening of the song features a clip from Sonic Reducer by The Dead Boys, as well as a brief sample of Sammy Davis, Jr. singing "New York's My Home."
