An Old Wyoming Song was Eighteen Visions's fifth hit and third single. It is well liked among fans of metal because of its fast paced/mosh beginning. It undoubtedly helped get Eighteen Visions into their later punk/emo/alternative material. "Break his silence. The breath of the dead angel has spoken forevermore" is played quite often in An Old Wyoming Song and is sometimes considered to be the chorus. While the meaning of this song is unknown, many consider it to be about an angel being murdered by a demon or an angel committing suicide, both ideas are plausible and fit in quite well with the lyrics.
