Ried was born in Frankfurt, Germany. Ried has French-Cajun and Indian heritage.[1] She has said she grew up as an army brat[3] and was raised primarily in southern California.[1] She made her on-screen debut in Young Ripe Mellons 7 in 2005.[3]
She has attended college for two years studying mechanical engineering.[1]
In October 2007, Ried became a contract star for Third Degree Films.[3]
