In early 2006, Amy made her long awaited leap from St. Louis to Los Angeles. From the moment she set foot in the city of Angels, Amy's career has been thriving. She landed hosting gigs with Direct TV and Fuel TV and was the star of Broadcaster, a news show covering the world of pop culture. She booked several national commercials and has completed many independent film projects. She is currently the voice of channel 101 on Direct TV and continues to book work in TV and Film. She has appeared in several short films including Dinner at 8 and the soon to be release Hip Hop Musical directed by Kevin Connolly of Entourage fame.

In her recent career, Paffrath has starred in multiple music videos, including Whitestarr's Sunshine Girl and Paramore's well-known single, Misery Business. She is also the latest additon to E! , hosting E! Newsnow and being the program's newest On-Air personality.
