Amy Noble

Amy Noble is a British actress from Surbiton in Surrey.

She has played Becky Martin in Holby City, and Lydia Asler in EastEnders. She is also appearing Peter Kosminky's latest project 'Britz' on Channel 4, and will be appearing in the My Family Christmas special later this year. In November/December 2007 she played one of the lead roles,Lily Wilson, in Chains at the Orange Tree Theatre, Richmond (for which she has been nominated for an Ian Charleson Award, 2007) and subsequently also performed in The Woman Hater, at the same venue, from Christmas until February 2007; the world premiere of Fanny Burney's play which was completed in 1802.

Amy went to Tolworth primary and secondary school and left in June 2000, before studying for her A levels at Esher College. Amy Noble attended Queens' College, Cambridge University and graduated in July 2006 with First Class Honours in Modern and Medieval Languages (French and German). She appeared in many plays during her time at Cambridge including Edward Albee's The Goat, Neil Labute's Bash, George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion and Shakespeare's The Two Gentlemen of Verona, at the Cambridge Arts Theatre.
