Amy Aquino is a tony-nominated American television and stage actress. She has gained notability for playing many tough, no-nonsense characters. She has had recurring roles in several hit television shows such as ER, "Judging Amy", Felicity, Crossing Jordan, Peggy on Everybody Loves Raymond, (in one episode beating up Ray Barone (Ray Romano)), and an award-winning character on Picket Fences. She has also guest starred on Curb Your Enthusiasm and Weeds. Aquino has also appeared in such films as Moonstruck, Boys on the Side, A Lot Like Love and In Good Company.

Aquino is the daughter of Adele and Salvatore Aquino.[1] After graduating from Harvard University in 1979 with a degree in biology, she attended the Yale School of Drama. She has been married to Drew McCoy since 1995.
