Because the image is stored in 8x8 or 16x16 chunks, you can crop (multiples of these from the top left). I use a program called BetterJPEG, which is commercial, which also allows lossless copy and pasting. I'm sure there are some free utilities out there though. ed g2s • talk 19:43, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
