What was the rationale of the decapitalisation? The Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style_(capital_letters)#Titles doesn't say anything about the difference between recognised and unrecognised leaders' titles. Here is one example when the word 'president' is capitalised. Alaexis 06:44, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

They are not officially president, prime ministers and never will be until the law and Jurisdiction will not prevail over the so called de facto status of some regime. Again, all of them are self-imposed, impostor representatives of so called governments which were not elected in any recognized or fair democratic elections. Therefore, don’t capitalize their titles and don’t make it sound they are real officials with recognitions as per their job description. Ldingley 14:36, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
