is the map incorrect with San Jose printed at the south end rather than san diego? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 207.112.77.13 (talk • contribs) 23:47, November 19, 2005.

The description of the cafe cars is contradictory. Quoted below: "Consists on the San Joaquins and Capitol Corridor routes usually include about five cars, with one locomotive and a cab control car on the other end. One of the five cars is a cafe car, with regular seating on the upper floor, and a cafe with two tables on the lower floor. On San Joaquins and Capitol Corridor Trains, the cafe is on the upper floor entirely and the lower level of the cafe is a crew area. Consists on the Pacific Surfliner, however, are not as consistent since some Amtrak-owned equipment is also used."

It says the cafe is on the lower floor and on the upper floor (one of these is incorrect, or one of these descriptions fits the San Joaquins, and the other for the Capitol Corridor. 146.201.142.72 (talk) 12:39, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Actually both are correct. I believe the older series cafe cars (8000 series) have cafe at upper level, while newer ones (6000 series) have cafe at lower level. --Will74205 (talk) 21:41, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
