[edit] Who can draw ASE?

We need some sormulas (at least qualitatice) to characterise the ASE: rate of spontaneous decay, probability, that the emitted photon is within the spectral range of the gain and goes in the direction where it can have long path in the gain medium. Also, some pic(s) with ASE, and more references. dima 02:56, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] refs

I add two important references. We should also mention lasers which do not have feedback and work only due to ASE.dima 16:27, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
