Nong Hi (Thai: หนองฮี) is a district (Amphoe) of Roi Et Province, Thailand.

Neighboring districts are (from the south clockwise) Moei Wadi, Suwannaphum and Phanom Phrai of Roi Et Province, and Sila Lat of Sisaket Province.

The minor district (King Amphoe) was created on April 1 1995, when the three tambon Nong Hi, Sao Hae and Duk Ueng were split off from Phanom Phrai[1].
Following a decision of the Thai government on May 15 2007, all of the 81 minor districts were to be upgraded to full districts[2]. With the publishing in the Royal Gazette on August 24 the upgrade became official[3].

The district is subdivided into 4 subdistricts (tambon), which are further subdivided into 54 villages (muban). There are no municipal (thesaban) areas, and 4 Tambon administrative organization (TAO).
