[edit] Speedy deletion of Life Union Corporation
A tag has been placed on Life Union Corporation requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - AWeenieMan (talk) 21:46, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Brittaniaville, Massachusetts
A tag has been placed on Brittaniaville, Massachusetts, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Icestorm815 (talk) 17:03, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Lukin Sigillo
A tag has been placed on Lukin Sigillo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. // Chris (complaints)•(contribs) 22:02, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Jennie Elizabeth Eisenhower
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Jennie Elizabeth Eisenhower, and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Jennie Eisenhower. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 12:17, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- If you feel an different title is appropriate, you move the article. Copy&pasting throws away the edit history, making it look as though you deserve all the credit. Also, you failed to move the talk page. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 12:24, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Life Union
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Life Union, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}}
to the top of Life Union. ukexpat (talk) 16:48, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

- Thank you for your message on my talk page. For the article to survive the AfD nomination, you will have to provide some verifiable sources/references. The essence of Wikipedia is that articles must have references and that those references must be verifiable. Please feel free to contribute to the deletion discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Life Union. Thank you. – ukexpat (talk) 18:07, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Massachusetts
Hi there. I reverted your edit to the Massachusetts article, as "Massachusetts Bay Colony" is a more appropriate and commonly used term for the geographical area in question. Fullobeans (talk) 07:47, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

- Not to spam your talk page, but I would like to leave you a non-template note encouraging you to weigh in on the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Governor_and_Company_of_the_Mattachusetts_Bay_in_Newe-England. You appear to have created a few (mostly orphaned) stubs on related topics involving colonial Massachusetts history, and it would be helpful if you explained the goals of your contributions. You seem to be working on something interesting, and it would be a waste to delete this particular article if it can be improved through merging or editing. Hope to hear from you! [edit] Regarding your contributions
Before you decide to create any new articles or make alterations to any existing ones, it might be a good idea to ask yourself whether you're really sure of the accuracy of the information you're contributing. Wikipedia requires that all the information that appears in it be verifiable through reliable secondary sources, and I've noticed that the information you've been adding is seldom, if ever, accompanied by references to such sources. It's not particularly fair to expect other editors to sort out what is valuable in your contributions from what is the result of misunderstandings or lack of knowledge on your part. Deor (talk) 04:48, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Response
The only edits of yours that I've reverted are ones that have added irrelevant or incomprehensible text to articles. I've recommended articles that you've created for deletion when they were on topics that don't meet Wikipedia's inclusion criteria (mostly because of lack of verifiability). I gave you some advice in the message "Regarding your contributions" above, and the best I can do is to direct you to that message once again. Deor (talk) 02:55, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
- I gave my reasons for nominating the sestertium article for deletion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sestertium. If you disagree with them, I suggest you go there and make your case. Deor (talk) 03:16, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
