[edit] Lielie kapi
Thank you for your note. And I do hope to contribute more to the article--thank you for creating it! There was an exhibit on the cemetery at the time I took the picture I added, I might add that as a separate section. A bit more information was included on the cemetery in the exhibit, but you have all the basics (that burials were to be done outside the city to minimize the plague, the Soviets basically razed it, etc.).
I'm always busy, but I resolved to spend at least part of my 2008 Wiki-time such as it is on improving articles about Latvia which are away from the "controversies." —PētersV (talk) 21:55, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
Hi, got your note. The "Office of Mother Earth" exhibit which was installed at the cemetery had a small amount of background information, including that the last burial there was in 1969. I'll poke around for what else I can find. :-) PētersV (talk) 15:20, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of landmarks destroyed by Communist run governments (2nd nomination). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
