Milad Amoun-Pinudjem Sourial is an American born Egyptian- Zoologist, Ethologist, Sustainable Agriculturist, Screenwriter, and Natural History Illustrator. He described an alternative evolutionary pathway for ornamental plumage in Galliform birds. He expanded the parameters of animal defense theory by demonstrating multiple applications of display behaviors, postures and quill vibration in the Pavoninae. The term “Maahesian Mimicry” is used to describe various forms of reptile mimicry employed by Rheinartia, Argusianus, Pavo, Polyplectron and Afropavo to defend the foraging and reproductive territories against nest predators.
