Root was the first person to publish an eyewitness account of an aircraft in flight. Where was it published? What paper or magazine? What city? Trekphiler 16:40, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

He wrote the articles in the journal his company published called "Gleanings in Bee Culture". City of publication probably Medina, Ohio where he lived and worked. See the Quotes section and its footnote (#44 as of today) in the Wright brothers Wikipedia article. DonFB 17:16, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
