Amon Amarth's seventh studio album is currently in the process of being mixed. It is due to be released in fall 2008. Ten tracks will be recorded on this album.[1]
In anticipation of this album, there were a series of studio diaries in the form of vlogs that discussed the recording process of this album in the studio. There were four blogs recorded. The first vlog focused on Fredrik Andersson recording the drums[2], the second vlog focused on Olavi Mikkonen recording the rhythm guitar position[3], the third vlog focused on Ted Lundström's bass guitar skills and the band's food preparation, and the fourth focused on Johan Hegg recording his vocals.
There is also a series of 8-page comics titled "Twilight of the Thunder God" which will be released in magazines throughout Europe.[4]
