Alec Michod (born March 20, 1975) is an American writer based in New York City. He attended the University of Chicago and Columbia University, where he was a Hodder Fellow in Fiction.
His writing has been published in The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Village Voice, and The Believer, and he's interviewed Jonathan Franzen, Jeffrey Eugenides, Richard Powers, Rick Moody, Michael Chabon, Michael Cunningham, Jonathan Lethem for various publications.
His first novel, The White City, was published in 2004. He now lives in Brooklyn, NY, where he's writing another novel.
