Amir Esbati

Amir Esbati (in Persian: امیر اثباتی, born 1956, Tehran, Iran), is a cinematic art director. He earned a B.A. in architecture from Tehran University, and started his career with The Treasure (1984, M. Sadjadi).

He has been nominated five times for the International Fajr Film Festival, and won the award for the films The Land of the Sun (1996, A. Darvish) and The May Lady (1997, Rakhshan Bani-Etemad). He works also as a graphist. He was the Chairman of the Association of Art Directors in Iranian cinema.
