Amikam Balshan (born 3 May 1948) an Israeli chess master.
In 1967, he played in World Junior Championship in Jerusalem (Julio Kaplan won).
Balshan represented Israel six-times in World Student Team Chess Championships (1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1974). He won individual gold medal at Ybbs 1968.
He played for Israel in the 20th Chess Olympiad at Skopje 1972, and won individual silver medal at first reserve board (+10 –0 =6) there.
In 1978/79, he took 15th in Hastings (Ulf Andersson won). In 1979, he tied for 1st-2nd with Jacob Murey in Ramat Hasharon.
