Amihan is a deity in Philippine mythology. According to the Tagalog story of creation, Amihan is one of the first beings to inhabit the universe, along with Bathala and Aman Sinaya. In the story, Amihan is a legendary bird who frees the first humans, Malakas and Maganda, from a bamboo plant.

Amihan is also the name of the northwest monsoon in the Philippines usually occurring early in the year.
