[edit] White Jersey
Is it correct to say he was awarded the white jersey? He wore it, but I seem to remember Contador being on the podium at the end of the stages he led, included when he was in yellow. Might be wrong, we don't get much coverage in Australia. --Aioth 10:43, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
- He wore it, but was third in the classification, as the two people above him, Contador and Soler, had better jerseys to wear. As COntador was leading the classification, he was awarded with it on the podium each day (and would be able to keep that jersey and a front-zip version of it for each day he was in it). According to Seán Kelly on Eurosport, Tzurruka would be able to keep the jersey he wore for each day, but wouldn't earn the prize money associated with wearing it. So its just prestige really.
