Talk:American Recordings
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
see the way the line under the title "artists" goes behind the image?? I think it would look tight if that could be avoided, any of you knowledgeable in image syntax, if you could help, that's be sa-weeeeet. I wish the info blurb at the top could fit with the image then the "artist" title could be under it. trick is, I'd like to keep the image roughly the same size. Kzzl 4 July 2005 21:55 (UTC)
- I think I did your request. It needs to have a HTML tag to do that effect. --Krystyn Dominik 4 July 2005 22:02 (UTC)

[edit] Is "American Recordings" ded?
I see the outlink to the "American Reordings" official site is a redirect to "Island Records dot Com"... 31-12-05 @ 20:15 WAST
Yep, can't seem to find any reference to American Recordings on either SONY/BMG or Universal's websites... anyone with more info care to update? 24.139.30.75 17:04, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Change the current artists lineup
I think Johnny Cash should be moved from current artists to past artists. Ya know, with him being dead and all...
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:American Recordings.jpg
Image:American Recordings.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 17:33, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Citation?
Where's all citation for this article? Specifically the part that says American Recordings is being moved from Warner to Sony. And the remainder of the article lacks ANY kind of cited source material. Not good. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.19.54.100 (talk) 12:38, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
