[edit] pets?

Are these able to be pets? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dojorkan (talkcontribs) .

As cute as they are, they are evidently difficult in captivity. They live in habitats that are cool in the summer and snow-covered in the winter, and they have a strong seasonality in their behavior. I suspect that some of the Asian pikas of steppe environments would be much easier to domesticate.--Curtis Clark 00:26, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

The article reads as if it ends abruptly in the middle of the second reference. What was it meant to be? Cema 15:09, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

No, it is correct, although perhaps awkward. - UtherSRG (talk) 15:20, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
